This is s a premium Taiwanese rice variety.
With 95% Koshihikari heritage and 5% Tainong No. 67, these rice grains look almost identical to Koshihikari – and the taste is just as good,
if not better!
Fragrant and mouth-watering, the rice is pleasantly sticky with a springy texture.
Premium in quality and flavour, it has won continuous praise from customers in recent years.
Recommended Cooking Method
Step 1:
Quickly and gently rinse the rice with clean water 2 to 3 times, then drain well.
Step 2:
Use a 1:1 ratio of rice to water. Cook directly in a rice cooker for approximately 45 minutes.
Step 3:
After cooking is complete, do not open the lid immediately. Let the rice sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 4:
Open the lid and gently fluff the rice to separate the grains, then cover the lid again and let it rest for another 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Note: You can adjust the water level based on personal preference:
- For softer rice, use slightly more water.
- For a chewier texture, use slightly less water.
Storage Instructions:
After opening the package:
If the rice won’t be consumed within a short time, store it in a cool, well-ventilated place or in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
For leftover cooked rice:
Seal and store in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
Reheating:
Cold rice can be reheated using a microwave, rice cooker, or other cooking appliances. For best taste, consume as soon as possible after reheating.
