1. Soaking in hot water
Put the vermicelli in a large bowl, add hot water (about 80°C or above) and soak for about 5 to 10 minutes until softened and transparent, then drain and set aside. The soaking time can be adjusted according to the cooking method.
2. Quick stir-fry
The soaked vermicelli can be directly added to stir-fried dishes, such as stir-fried vermicelli, stir-fried cabbage or stir-fried shredded pork, and absorb the sauce to make it delicious.
3. Boiling soup/hot pot
Put the soaked vermicelli in hot soup or hot pot and boil for 1 to 2 minutes to absorb the flavour of the soup, and the taste is smooth and not easy to get mushy.
4. Cold flavour
Rinse the soaked vermicelli with ice water, and add cucumber shreds, carrot shreds, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, etc. to make a refreshing and appetizing cold vermicelli.

😊 Recipe 1: Stir-Fried Vermicelli
Ingredients:

100g Tiger Brand vermicelli (soaked until soft)

50g shredded carrot
-
100g shredded cabbage
-
100g sliced pork or shrimp
-
1 tsp minced garlic
-
1.5 tbsp soy sauce
-
A dash of sesame oil
-
A pinch of white pepper
Instructions:

Soak vermicelli in hot water until soft, then drain.

Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic, then stir-fry pork or shrimp until cooked.

Add carrot and cabbage, stir-fry until slightly softened.

Add vermicelli and soy sauce, stir well (add a splash of water if needed).

Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with white pepper before serving.

Ingredients:

100g Tiger Brand vermicelli (soaked)

1 chicken leg (cut into chunks)

Ginger slices

A handful of goji berries
-
1000ml water
-
Salt to taste
Instructions:

Blanch chicken briefly in boiling water to remove impurities.

In a pot, boil water with ginger slices, then add chicken and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add soaked vermicelli and goji berries, cook for another 2–3 minutes.

Season with salt and serve hot.

Ingredients:

100g Tiger Brand vermicelli (soaked and cooled in ice water)

50g shredded cucumber

30g shredded carrot

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp white vinegar
-
1/2 tsp sugar
-
Sesame oil and white sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Cut softened vermicelli into shorter lengths. Combine with vegetables.

Pour dressing over and mix well. Garnish with sesame seeds and a drizzle of sesame oil.
