Stir-fried Pork Belly with Pickled Mustard Core Slices
Ingredients
• 1 pack LH Pickled Mustard Core
• 200g pork belly, thinly sliced
• 2 slices ginger
• 1 tsp minced garlic
• 1 fresh chilli (optional)
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tsp sugar
• Cooking oil
Method
1. Prep the mustard core. Rinse lightly under water to reduce saltiness, then slice into bite-size pieces.
2. Stir-fry aromatics. Heat a little oil in a pan. Add ginger, garlic, and chilli, and cook until fragrant.
3. Cook the pork. Add pork belly slices and stir-fry until cooked through and slightly browned.
4. Add mustard core. Toss in the pickled mustard core pieces and stir-fry well.
5. Season. Add soy sauce and sugar, and mix to combine.
6. Serve. Enjoy hot, tangy, crunchy, savoury and perfect with steamed rice.
