Hakka Style Pickled Mustard Greens are made from whole mustard greens that are salted, fermented and sun-dried for a tangy, savoury taste and fragrant aroma.

Vacuum-sealed for freshness and easy cooking. Enjoy in stir-fries, pork intestine or tripe soup, with pork belly, bitter melon, or simply mixed into hot rice.

Recipe: Hakka-Style Pickled Mustard Greens Stir-fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack LH Hakka-Style Pickled Mustard Greens 500g 
  • 300g pork belly or pork shoulder, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Optional: fresh chilli for a little heat


Method:

  1. Prepare the pickles. Rinse the pickled mustard stems lightly under running water to reduce saltiness.
  2. Drain well and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Cook pork. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pork until lightly browned.
  4. Add aromatics. Add garlic (and chilli if using) and stir-fry until fragrant.
  5. Stir in pickles.  Add the mustard stems and a little sugar, stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve. Delicious with steamed rice or noodles.
